Commedia
Accessible below is the Prologue to Nigel Frith’s play ‘Commedia’ which was performed in Oxford in 1987. The Prologue was compiled in 2024 and is composed of an interview with Nigel Frith concerning the nature of the commedia dell’ arte form and the staging of the play ‘Commedia’ at the Oxford Playhouse. The interview was conducted by Nigel Frith’s friend Robert Booth and is accompanied in the Prologue by numerous photographs and other materials relating to the play and its staging.
